To INSTALL OUR ELECTRONIC BOOK  >>>  DO THE FOLLOWING:

Depending on how you got the file, you need to make a sub
directory and copy either the 'zip' file which contains
all the files necessary to read this book, or all the 
files that you got on the disk in any form that you got
it.  (Every distribution channel is different.)

But most likely you got it as a zip file so 

1. Copy the 'Zip' file to a place on your hard drive.
2.  Make a subdir e.g.  MD\VERBON  OR MD\EBOOK
3.   Copy the zip file to this subdir.  eg. 
       e.g.  'Copy filename.zip \Verbon'
4. Unzip it.
5. Type 'BEGIN'

The free portion of the book will be available to read.

PLEASE NOTE:  We are using a new method of encryping our
              book, called SOFTLOCK, so that we can reward      
              our authors sufficiently so that they will
              continue to write good books for us.

SO, if you like the Free portion of this book WHICH INCLUDES
    UP TO PART ONE.  Then, you will want to purchase the 
    rest.  The rest of this book will be de-encrypted when
    you call 800-SOFTLOCK with two pieces of information:
    A.  The product number = in this case = 10031
    B.  The SOFTLOCK ID.  
        You can see the SOFTLOCK ID, by TYPING 'SOFTLOCK' 
        at the DOS prompt where you put these files.
   
When you have these two pieces of info, call the 800# and
key in these two numbers and the automated process will
give you a PASSWORD that you type at the DOS PROMPT and
the book will be de-encrypted and you may read the rest.
(YOU WILL ALSO NEED A CREDIT CARD TO PURCHASE THIS WAY.)

AFTER YOU GET YOUR PASSWORD ON THE PHONE:

Type: 'READ PASSWORD' Password will be your Password.

Then, the book will be de-encrypted and all parts are 
readable to you.

But the encrypted parts of the book will not de-encrypt 
until you've paid for the book.

We apologize for making you go through all this effort
but when you go to a bookstore, you don't stand there and
read the whole book for free.  You browse, which is what
we allow you to do here and then you make the decision
to buy it or not.  That's what this SOFTLOCK process
does for us.  If our authors are never compensated, they
cannot write good books for us. 

If you cannot get the book this way, you may get it 
by USING THE CATALOG AT THE BOTTOM OF THE MENU AND JUST
   FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORDERING WITH OR WITHOUT
   A CREDIT CARD.
